POST GE 2011

Well, again the voters in Singapore have shown, that is, 60% support the PAP. With this, Mah Bow Tan, Wong Kan Seng and Lim Swee Say are telling all Singaporeans that they have our "mandate" even after scoring below the national average?

Seems like alot of Singaporeans are apparently PAP loyallists? Well for one, Overseas Singaporeans (OS) are generally not pro-PAP, and the main reason thus, for creating obstacles after obstacles for these OS to vote. If all the OS were given their basic rights to vote without the need to "register"? and for that matter on time, where the incumbents were not broadcasting this before they issued the writ in April 2011, HK included, where the picture and outcome of the GE 2011 may have been very different.

Constituencies like Joo Chiat and Potong Pasir will have definately fallen to the oppositions, and perhaps even the East Coast GRC. Well it seems that there are still many Singaporeans who like to continue to suffer under the autocratic leadership of the PAP while the rest of us, Singaporeans have to suffer with them.

The PAP talks about healing; to work as one Singapore? Really.... looking at (i) what MM just said about the Workers Party (WP) post GE2011, where he is paranoid about their increase in supporters, and (ii) where Vivian Bala still insists that there is nothing wrong with the PAP policies, only how they should communicate these? (iii) Khaw and a few others called for the healing...let's also wait and see what they have to say in the coming weeks. There apparently is already a "victim", an NSP supporter working at the Jurong Town Council who was sacked because of her activities in her personal time to help the NSP. Let's see how the PAP start to "listen" to Singaporeans as LHL claims he would after due introspection within his party? I believe it will be more how to "fix" the oppositions and their supporters.

With the social media now playing an active role, it will be interesting to see if LHL will walk his talk about "listening" to Singaporeans, or is "sincere"with his apologies, which he made, in the last minute of the election campaign to apparently sway voters, which seeming he succeeded or would have lost more constituencies in this election.

Singaporeans who have been aware of LHL's strategies for the past several elections, are apparently sceptical, watching to see if LHL will think of ways to "fix" the opposition. Let's see who in the opposition, will they incarcerate this time round.

Let us "pray" as I understand that, there were Christians who have been "praying" for Vivian Bala to be elected, that we have not given the "mandate" to the evil, and have all our reserves looted before we wake up.
